Documents imported into the web app are stored for your account workspace so the reader and hosted AI actions can process them. Desktop documents remain local unless you choose a cloud workflow.Hosted web AI actions send the required prompt and document context to the configured platform providers. The desktop product can use local or user-controlled provider settings according to its licensed features.Account and billing records are kept to authenticate you, fulfill purchases, protect credits and support license recovery.
